The Characteristics Of Squint Eyes And Their Causes?
I want, when I mirror the right eyeball in the middle, but the left eyeball is at the far left and often experience the left pegel.
Hello Lynda, Thank you for the question.
Is this condition accompanied by decreased vision / difficulty seeing? If not, your eye is classified as squint or strabismus. Squinting is a condition where the eyes are not aligned or do not see at the same point, for example one eye looks forward while the other eye looks sideways, up, or down, so that the eye not focus on seeing an object. This condition is caused by a disruption of the eyeball moving muscles. The exact cause of this condition is not known with certainty but this condition can be triggered by nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, brain paralysis, injury to the eye, injury to the head, and others. In addition to differences in eye movements, sufferers may experience complaints of blurred vision or double vision, eye strain, headaches.
If this condition is not treated properly, this condition can cause lazy eyes (amblyopia). Lazy eye is a condition where one eye's vision is disturbed because the brain and eyes are not well coordinated. Eyes with poor eyesight (for example in squinting eyes) send bad signals / blurred to the brain so that over time the brain will ignore the bad signals from the eye. This condition causes decreased vision in the eye.
Therefore, to prevent lazy eye, you should immediately consult with an ophthalmologist. The doctor will ask about your complaints and examine your eyes before the doctor determines further treatment which can be in the form of the use of special glasses, eye patches, eye exercises, eye injections, or surgery.
Hopefully this information helps you.
