Hello, I’m experiencing a slight respiratory disorder. It feels cold in the chest and sometimes when I take a breath, from inside the chest sounds “kretek kretek” like the sound of bones. At first I was worried about the corona virus and then I checked my breathing by breathing manually, then I seemed to be suggesting that I was affected and then my breath became manual. My breathing has been disrupted since March 24, 2019 until now April 1, I still feel it. I guess why?

Hello Faisal,

Thank you for the question.

A chest that feels cold, sounds kretek-kretek, and is uncomfortable when breathing is not typical to indicate COVID-19 (a disease caused by the Corona virus). This complaint in your chest is more likely due to the following conditions:

Psychosomatic disorders (psychiatric disorders that make sufferers feel a variety of complaints that can not always be explained scientifically)
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (stomach acid that rises again and irritates the esophagus)
Bronchitis (inflammation of the lower respiratory tract leading to the lungs, can be due to infection or exposure to chemical fumes)
Other factors, such as heart attacks, pleurisy, pneumothorax, gastritis, panic attacks, excessive anxiety disorders, allergies, and so on

Although it is not typical to show symptoms of COVID-19, you still need to be aware that you are contracting COVID-19, especially if you have felt contact with sufferers / suspects of COVID-19 and are living / having traveled to an area with an outbreak of COVID-19.

We suggest that your complaint improve, try to do it first:

Warm your chest compress
More rest
Never contact with things you are allergic to, such as cold temperatures, dust, pollen, animal dander, certain foods or medicines
Wear comfortable clothes
Eat regularly, small portions but often
After eating, don't rush to sleep
Limit first consuming foods that contain lots of gas and caffeinated drinks
Stay away from cigarettes
Do not be too sad, anxious, especially to stress

The rest, if complaints worsen from day to day, or if there are shortness of breath, vomiting, and other complaints that are more severe, you better go to see your doctor directly or doctor in the disease to be treated properly according to the cause. If necessary, the doctor can recommend that you undergo a heart record examination, x-rays, and so on.

Hope this helps ...
