The Danger Of Unused Oxygen Cylinders For 1 Year?
I have a large oxygen tank at home and the contents are still full, and it’s not used for a year whether the contents can expire or not
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
First of all, you have to make sure in advance whether your oxygen cylinder contains oxygen that meets medical oxygen standards (this is related to the purity of oxygen in the cylinder). If the oxygen meets medical oxygen standards, then there is no expiration date for oxygen gas in the cylinder. Even so, the tube itself has an expiration period. This does not mean that the tubes should not be used after the expiration date has passed, but the tubes require inspection every few years (usually every 5 years, but can depend on the respective manufacturing company). You can make sure the contents of the cylinder or the cylinder's expiration date to where you previously bought the oxygen cylinder.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
