The Difference Between Clonazepam And Tizanidine?
Good evening doc. Please inform me about the difference between clonazepam and tizanidine. Then are these two types of drugs effective for healing mild cervical spondylosis and mild stenosis which are characterized by tight feeling in the head and tension in the neck? thank you
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Clonazepam is a drug from the benzodiazepine group, which is usually given to prevent and control inflammation, and can also be used to control panic attacks and overcome muscle tension.
Tizanidine is a drug from golongnalpha-2-adrenergic agonists, which are usually given to treat muscle tension.
Both of these drugs will not treat mild cervical spondylosis or cervical stenosis because they are structural problems in your cervical spine, but they can help reduce symptoms of neck pain and headaches that often accompany spondylosis or stenosis due to tension in the neck muscles. It is always a good idea to discuss the use of drugs with the neurologist who treats you, do not use both drugs carelessly without consulting a doctor first because both are hard drugs that can be dangerous if used carelessly.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
