Hello Mekelichen, thank you for the question on HealthReplies.com.
Colds or in medical language referred to as rhinitis, is a condition where inflammation occurs on the surface (mucosa) of the nose. This condition is generally divided into 2 based on the causes, namely allergic and non allergic.
While the flu or influenza, is a condition where an infection occurs in the nose or other respiratory tract caused by influenza virus. The flu itself is not divided into allergic or non allergic because this condition has certainly been caused by a viral infection.
Seeing your complaint, it can be an allergic or non allergic, influenza, or ARI. Therefore, to ascertain which conditions are causing your complaints at this time, you should consult a doctor further. After the examination, then your condition can be determined whether this is normal or not, and what is the diagnosis of your condition. After that, then can be determined what treatment is most appropriate for the condition.
In the meantime, avoid things that might cause or aggravate your complaint (for example cold weather, dust, etc.). If the mucus comes out of the nose, you should clean the mucous and not inhale it again. Use drugs that are recommended by doctors only, do not use other drugs without clear recommendations, especially for drugs that are dripped or sprayed into the nose. Increase rest and consume nutritious food while complaints are still felt.
I hope this helps.
