Good morning, thanks for the question
Enteric fever refers to fever caused by typhus and paratypical infections. This disease is transmitted through poor sanitation. The difference between the two lies in the type of germ that causes it, where typhoid fever is caused by the Salmonella typhi organism, whereas paratifus fever is caused by the Salmonella paratyphi organism.
Both of them provide similar general symptoms, only paratifus fever is generally in a milder form. In addition, in terms of the prevalence of typhoid fever more common than paratifus. Both are treated with antibiotics to eradicate the germs that cause them.
For now typhoid vaccine already exists to prevent the infection of this disease. But until now there has not been a vaccine to prevent paratifus disease, so it is important to always maintain personal and environmental hygiene to avoid being infected with paratytic fever.
That's all, hope you can help
