The Effect Of Inserting A Finger Into The Vagina On The Menstrual Cycle
I once put a finger in my vagina and it affected my menstrual cycle. Previously, the cycle was regular but after doing that, my menstrual cycle changed. I used to bleed for up to 6 months in a row and now I menstruate for 3 months sometimes sometimes more than that. What problem do I have? Is it because of the effect of inserting a finger into the vagina? Please answer, thank you
Thank you for the question.
Inserting a finger into the vagina can cause your vagina or reproductive organs to become more irritated, sores, even infections that can bleed easily. This bleeding if enough in number could be similar to menstrual blood. However, if this is the only problem, often complaints will not continue for months like you often experience now.
More likely, if your periods are often late to more than 1 month, then the cause is ovarian cysts, obesity, stress, fatigue, extreme exercise or diet, the influence of drugs, the effects of contraception, hyperthyroidism, and so on. This condition, if it occurs only occasionally, can be dealt with first with the discipline of living a healthy lifestyle, be more diligent in eating foods rich in antioxidants, maintain ideal body weight, and don't stress or worry too much. We also do not recommend that you take any medicine or herbal medicine without first seeing a doctor.
If for more than 3 months you make the effort above your complaint still does not improve, we recommend that you go to see a doctor or obstetrician directly. Going to the doctor too early, especially in the atmosphere of today's COVID-19 pandemic, seems to be far more at risk of making you infected with the disease, so it should be postponed.
Hope this helps ...
