The Emergence Of Post-red Eyes Using Torn Contact Lenses?
Hello, I want to ask. Today I use contact lenses. Soon I realized, my eyes turned red, after I was released, it turned out that I realized that my contact lens had been torn. Now my eyes are red like a wound, and like I produce excess eye discharge. Is it safe if I use eye drops for this? Thank you
Complaints of the onset of red eye accompanied by excessive eye discharge can be caused by the following conditions:
Mild eye irritation Conjunctivitis Blepharitis Episcleritis Keratitis Complaints of red eyes that are not accompanied by impaired vision are generally not dangerous, however, if there are visual disturbances (blurred / difficult to see) then you should not take medication on your own and immediately see your eye specialist doctor for ensure the condition of your eyes and get the appropriate treatment.
Your doctor will ask for a history of your complaints, do eye examinations and eye chambers. Generally doctors only need a physical examination to determine the condition that causes your complaint. If the complaint is caused by minor eye irritation, the doctor may prescribe anti-irritant eye drops. If the complaint is caused by a bacterial infection, the doctor can prescribe antibiotics that are compatible with the bacteria that causes it and anti-inflammatory drops to treat the condition.
May be useful,
