The Eyes Look A Little Blurry?
Dear HealthReplies.com, I want to consult about my eyes. It’s been 2 days, my eyes become uncomfortable. My eye condition is minus 8 and cylinder 3 (the last time checking) and I am an active wearer of contact lenses, and I have been using it for years. These 2 daily views of my eyes are rather sharp, like there are black images crossing my right eye. What should I do to overcome it?
Good afternoon, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com. Your condition can mean a number of things, especially given the fact that your minus eye is quite high. Among the possibilities is that if it relates to the condition of your eyes so far, it could be a floaters, the addition of minus eyes or complications from minus the eyes that are too high, where tears in the retina or the eye lining begin. Another possibility if not directly related to a history of high minus can be cataracts, glaucoma, or other eye problems.
Our advice, you should immediately check your eyes at the eye doctor, because by having a high minus, you have these risk factors. By seeing an ophthalmologist, important information can be obtained such as eye pressure, condition of the retina and the inside of the eyeball. The handling you will receive later depends on the results of this inspection.
Meanwhile, there isn't much you can do because the conditions are also unclear. While waiting for an examination with an ophthalmologist, avoid smoking, don't lift heavy loads, get enough rest, avoid salty and sweet foods until later allowed by an eye doctor, and ensure hand hygiene and storage boxes when using contact lenses. So, hopefully answering your question.
