The First Action On Food Poisoning?
Good afternoon, yesterday my husband ate black sticky tape with coffee at Sodara’s house who was on a celebration and continued to go home in a cold light condition. After a few hours he complained of dizziness, headaches, weakness and shortly after he vomited. How is this poisoning or what? I tried to cure it with young coconut water, thank God, said husband Rada Mending. But now this morning he complained again dizzy. How was my action while he did not want to be taken to the doctor or the health center.
Good afternoon Nurlelasari, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Reading complaints that occur immediately after consuming food, then your husband is likely to experience food poisoning, but it can also be caused by other conditions such as dyspepsia syndrome, vertigo, or stomach acid disease.
Therefore, it is highly recommended that your husband be immediately taken to the doctor for further examination, especially if complaints of vomiting continue to occur without being accompanied by food or drinks that can be consumed, because these conditions can cause dehydration. During the examination the doctor may advise your husband to undergo several examinations such as blood tests, and other examinations according to your husband's condition.
However, if you find it difficult to take your husband to the doctor, there are several things you can do as first aid, which is to make sure your husband gets enough fluids by continuing to give fluids (both water and electrolyte fluids) to your husband every time you vomit with a minimum amount of fluid given is almost equal to the amount of fluid that comes out during vomiting.
If vomiting continues and your husband becomes weak, immediately take it to the hospital emergency room to get first aid.
I hope this helps.
