The Former Pen Installation Surgery Still Hurts?
, I’m 16 years old, 2 months ago I had an accident which resulted in a lump just below my knee and I decided to have surgery and put a pen. During this 1 month I often felt pain and yesterday suddenly sounded. Is it dangerous?
In general, the healing process of surgery caused by fractures ranges from 1 to 6 months.
The recovery time for fracture surgery varies greatly because it is influenced by the type of fracture, the part of the bone that was injured, whether the fracture involves joint/muscle/blood vessel/nerve injuries. In addition, the surgical technique used, the supporting tools provided at the time of surgery (pen/wire/gypsum) to improve fracture conditions also greatly affect the healing process in addition to the patient's medical condition and patient compliance in carrying out advice and control according to the doctor's schedule.
Complaints of pain that you feel in the area that has been operated on can be related to the process of recovering from a broken bone or a condition that is not related to previous surgery.
Some of the possibilities that complicate the fracture recovery process:
Inflammation of the muscle, joint and nerve area around the injured bone. This condition is usually due to post-surgery you did not follow specific exercise instructions to train muscles/joints.
Poor bone grafting.
Bone infection, especially if there is an open wound in the skin of the broken bone area, so that there is exposure to contamination with bacteria/fungus.
To determine whether the cause of the pain and bone ringing you are experiencing and whether these conditions require medical treatment, please return to the Orthopedic Specialist who performed the surgery on your bones.
While at home, try the following:
Do the doctor's instructions correctly and discipline.
Consumption of balanced nutritious foods, consumption of animal protein and calcium sources to support the bone healing process.
Warm compresses on the painful area of the foot when you are not in a cast and if there are no open sores in the area.

That's the information we can share, hopefully it helps you.
