The Gestational Age From The Results Of HPHT And USG Is Different?
, why do you like the difference between the hpht results with the ultrasound results? My HPHT on 13 feb 2020, now on march 13, I haven’t menstruated yet, I also tested positive 3 times, then my ultrasound on 16 march 2020, but the doctor said the obstetrical age was still 2 weeks. GS 0.27 and GA OOR. Is that normal? The thing is I’m afraid because I have a history of miscarriages. Thank you
Hello Aryanti, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Ultrasound examination of gestational age in early pregnancy is indeed more accurate than the estimated examination of gestational age compared to late pregnancy.
Even so, the results of the examination may also be different from the results of calculations based on HPHT if fetal development is slower than it should, or if your menstrual cycle is less regular / inexact every 28 days.
If you are not sure about your gestational age, you are allowed to consult further with other obstetricians to find a opinion on this. You are also encouraged to recall what your menstrual cycle looks like and how long your menstrual cycle has been repeated.
In the meantime, keep your nutritional intake and follow all your obstetrician's advice to keep your pregnancy growing and developing as it should.
I hope this helps.
