The Gestational Age Is Declared To Be Enough Months To Give Birth?
How old is the womb until the new baby comes out? My womb is 39 weeks old but right when I go to the doctor, the doctor says it’s 40 weeks.
Good evening, thanks for the question
Labor is said to be quite months when the gestational age between 36-41 weeks. The estimated delivery date is only a prediction that is calculated from the time of the last menstrual period, at which time the labor will be delayed or advanced from the initial estimate. Gestational age above 41 weeks is said to be post-term which will pose a risk to the fetus so labor induction is needed. For now, if there are no signs of childbirth, mothers can do activities such as walking, light exercise, adequate food intake, and take time to rest for a while until delivery time. During this period pregnant women are also advised to consult regularly with an obstetrician every 2-3 days to assess whether there are signs of childbirth.
That's all, hope you can help
