The Gums Often Bleed And The Mouth Secretes A Yellowish-smelling Liquid During Sleep?
, want to ask. What are the symptoms of Gingivitis? What about the gums often bleed and the mouth secretes an unpleasant yellowish discharge while sleeping? In the past year, I have done 2 scaling. But my gums still often bleed and my mouth secretes unpleasant fluid. Then, I was advised to rinse with Hexitol branded antiseptic, and it hasn’t healed. What is the best treatment for me? Also, I ask for toothpaste recommendations for these symptoms. Thank you 😁
Hello Jauharatul, thank you for asking.
Gingivitis is an inflammation of the gums, can be caused by infection or by irritation due to other conditions. Symptoms are generally swollen, painful, pus out of the gums, gums are redder, and bleed easily. But you should know that bleeding from the gums may be caused by other things such as bleeding disorders and blood clots. Can also be caused by mistakes when brushing your teeth, and lack of vitamins.
Regarding the discharge of yellowish fluid with a bad taste, maybe the liquid is pus from the gums, or it may also be gastric juice (often called stomach acid) that turns up into the throat. Gastric sap is acidic so it can damage teeth, gum mucosa and throat. Generally if it occurs continuously will be accompanied by complaints of sore throat, coughing repeatedly, nausea, vomiting, bad breath, and symptoms of stomach disorders such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, and no appetite.
You should consult the condition with your dentist and general practitioner or internist. You can also change your diet to make it better. Avoid foods that are difficult to digest, choose foods that are not too oily, spicy, or sour. Eat regularly 3 times a day. Expand the intake of vegetables and fruit, and drink 2 L of water per day.
Hope this answer helps. Regards.
