The Habit Of Wagging Your Hands And Banging Your Head Against The Table?
I am 18 years old I was sexually abused as a child. I don’t know since when, but it’s been a long time since I’ve been doing strange habits like wagging my hands, tapping my head against the wall or table, and exhaling like someone who is blowing snot. I do this when suddenly a bad thought occurs. through my mind like a bad thing as a child or that person. If I don’t do it, my body will feel sick and dizzy. I think what kind of disease I am experiencing, and how to cure it. Thank you

These repetitive movements you do are complementary behaviors that some people can do to calm their fear or anxiety about something (obsession). This repetitive behavior will make the sufferer feel calm for a while but then fear or anxiety will return so that the sufferer will return to doing the same thing. In addition, these symptoms can also be caused by anxiety disorders, mood disorders (mood disorders), or depression.
