The Heat Around The Stomach And No Appetite?
Hello doctor. I am a 25 year old daughter. It’s been 2 days I feel my stomach is hot and not appetite and my body is weak. Even I feel nauseous to vomit. Even though I already consume stomach ulcers which I usually consume. Is there any other treatment that I can do at home first before doing a visit to the doctor?
Hello Princess, thank you for asking.
Based on the symptoms that you are describing, then chances are that you really have a stomach problem. Generally, the most frequent stomach disorders are gastritis. In the condition of gastritis there is damage to the barrier that protects the cells making up the stomach wall from exposure to gastric juice that is acidic. That results in damage to the stomach wall, so the wall becomes irritated. Gastritis can be acute or chronic. Chronicles are generally more difficult to handle.
In addition, it is also possible, that you have an ulcer or GERD. In peptic ulcers, sores occur in the stomach wall. As a result, symptoms of stomach disorders that are felt to be more significant. In GERD, there is damage to the valve that separates the stomach and esophagus (esophagus), as a result the acidic stomach sap can turn up towards the esophagus. It causes a burning sensation or pain along the chest, can penetrate until it is felt in the back, accompanied by dry or inflammation in the throat, coughing repeatedly, or bad breath.
You can try several steps such as:
Routinely taking drugs for stomach pain that are sold freely, 3 times a day. Don't overdose.
Choose the type of food that is easy to digest. For example soft rice, bread, boiled potatoes, or boiled yams.
Avoid foods or drinks that are too sour, oily, coconut milk, and too spicy.
Avoid cigarettes, caffeine, and liquor.
Avoid preserved foods and fast food.
Eat small portions, about 5-6 times a day.
Increase water consumption.
Don't lie down right after eating. Wait at least 2-3 hours.
Get enough rest and avoid stress.
Immediately visit a doctor to get the right treatment.
May you soon find healing. Regards.
