doc whether the corona virus is incubated in the body, can it be prevented / cured

1 Answer:

Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com

Basically, when a virus enters your body, the virus will need time to multiply to cause symptoms of the disease in your body. This period is called the incubation period. The incubation period for the corona virus ranges from 1-14 days, most often it is 5 days. During this incubation there are 2 possibilities that can occur, the first is that your body's immune system is so strong that it can kill the virus that enters your body by itself so that it does not eventually become a disease, or second, the virus can multiply and cause disease. If you have specific immunity to the virus (for example, you have been infected with the same virus before or if you have been vaccinated against it), then the first possibility (the virus will die and not become a disease) is more likely. However, because the corona virus is a new virus and there is no vaccine (still in the research stage), the more likely possibility is the second.

There is nothing you can do during the virus incubation period because you might not be able to know exactly when the virus entered your body. What you can do now is to reduce your risk of exposure to the virus (by staying at home and social distancing, washing your hands frequently, avoiding direct contact with others, avoiding crowds, etc.), and keeping your health and immune system strong ( by getting enough sleep, eating and drinking enough, exercising enough, and not smoking).

So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
