The Inner Eye Swells?
So yesterday I was using mascara and I thought something was coming in so my eyes were red. I’ve been using regular eye drops. But today I feel my eyes are sore and look smaller. After I noticed the bottom of my inner eye was very red and swollen like there was fluid in it, as well as some of the whites of my eyes. My eyesight is fine.” Why do you think so? Because I usually have an eye infection but it’s not swollen
Hi Betzy, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com :')
Complaints of swelling and redness under the inner eye that you experience may be caused by several conditions such as:
Blepharitis Hordeolum Chalazion Conjunctivitis (inflammation of the conjunctiva membrane of the eye) Direct physical examination is required to determine the cause and definite diagnosis of the complaints you are experiencing. Therefore, you should check your health condition with a doctor so that further examination and treatment can be carried out.
Some things you can do to prevent worsening of eye conditions:
Keep your eyes clean Avoid exposure to foreign substances from outside such as dust, or motor vehicle fumes Avoid using cosmetics first, especially on the eyes and surroundings Avoid temporary use of contact lenses Do not often manipulate the eyes by touching, holding or even rubbing them If you want clean the watery eyes, use a soft tissue and then immediately throw it away (should not be used multiple times) Warm compresses of water for 5-10 minutes 2-3 times a day Hope this information is useful :')
