The Knee Hurts And There Are Small Bumps After Exercise?
Hello I’m aurel .. I want to ask something please help yes the answer … I did squats but soon after that my knee hurt .. and when squat position there was a small lump in the knee and it hurt .. but when I stood there there was no small lump and no it hurts … why is that? Is it serious? And is there a way to deal with it?
The complaints you experience can be caused by several conditions including:
Inflammation of joints
Sprain or stretch the ligament so that it can cause a tear
Strain, namely the stretch to tear in the muscle around the joint
Joint dislocation, namely a shift in the location of the joint from its anatomical position
To ascertain the cause of your complaint, you should check with your doctor directly. That way the doctor can dig deeper into your complaint, conduct a direct examination and suggest supporting examinations such as X-Ray or MRI if needed. So to answer whether your condition is serious or not, your doctor needs to do a direct examination
That way the doctor will be able to provide the most suitable treatment advice. The treatment usually offered depends on the severity of the patient's condition. In mild cases, the doctor will provide pain relievers and anti-inflammatory drugs and recommend resting your knee joint. But in more severe cases, for example, there is a tear in a ligament, muscle or tendon, then surgery is needed followed by physiotherapy. As for what you can do at home to reduce your complaints, including:
Resting joints that have been injured Compress using ice cubes or cold towels Bandage the joints using an elastic bandage, hopefully this is useful
