Hello Donald, Thank you for the question.
Self-moving muscles / twitching are conditions when the body's muscles contract by themselves. This twitching muscle can be caused by:
Excessive muscle movements during exercise, usually appear on the oror arms, thighs, and back
high stress level
side effects of consumption of caffeinated drinks
nutritional deficiencies such as calcium and magnesium
Usually this condition is not a dangerous condition and can disappear by itself without special handling. You can do the following suggestions:
do warm-up movements before exercise and stretch muscles after exercise to reduce the risk of muscle cramps and twitching
multiply the consumption of water during exercise
make sure you get enough rest between sports sessions
consume balanced nutritious foods including vegetables and fruit
Limit consumption of caffeinated beverages
manage stress well
If these symptoms do not improve at all within 2 weeks, or if accompanied by weakness in the hands, please consult your nearest orthopedic doctor immediately for immediate examination (including blood tests or MRI) before giving further treatment.
I hope this helps.
