The Nose Has A Foreign Object?
Yesterday I cut my child’s nails. Suddenly a piece of jumping nails entered my nose. It’s small That’s how … can go out alone or have to help with tools or have to see a doctor?
Hello Ms. Mardiyana,
Foreign objects that enter the respiratory tract can either go out alone or not. If you are aware of this incoming object and are known to have not yet come out, you should go to the doctor or directly to the ENT specialist to find out whether the object is still in the respiratory tract or not. Foreign objects that cannot be destroyed and left alone can cause inflammation later in life and create discomfort and even infection.
Foreign objects that are left long enough in the respiratory tract can be a means of breeding germs, or if sharp can cause blisters / sores that cause germs to enter the body. Although the nails are very small and the possibility of coming out without you knowing, it never hurts to check yourself first to make sure. The ENT doctor will use special equipment to examine it, and if there can take it before something unexpected happens.
Hopefully this is useful,
