The Nose Is Often Blocked And Itchy Accompanied By Sneezing?
Hi .. introduce me azzahra ramadhani. Every morning after waking up my nose is clogged .. but if it’s a little longer my nose is normal again. trs in the afternoon my nose was often blocked and itchy. I kept on sneezing. and my nose is runny. I’ve been like this for 5 days. What do you think this disease is? then because of what? how to cure it how? thank you 🙂
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com. I am dr. Princess Claudya will help answer your questions.
Nasal congestion can indicate any of the following medical conditions:
Allergies (allergic rhinitis): often appears in the morning. In this case nasal congestion can be accompanied by sneezing and itching of the nose Inflammation of the nasal mucosa due to viral or bacterial infection (rhinitis): often accompanied by weakness, fever, and sore throat Inflammation of the sinuses (sinusitis) Mass in the nose (nasal polyps) Crooked nasal bulkhead Based on your exposure, the possible cause of the condition is allergies, given the itching it causes and appears in the morning. But it does not rule out other causes
To determine the cause of your complaint, it is better to consult further with an ENT doctor. The doctor will dig further into your complaint and will do an examination of the nose and the surrounding area. If necessary, the doctor will carry out supporting examinations in the form of blood tests, biopsy if there is a mass, CT scan, or x-ray. And after that the doctor will provide treatment for your complaint according to the underlying conditions.
Things you can do to improve and prevent worsening of your disease are:
Pour warm water in the basin, then inhale the warm steam that is generated. This can help thin the mucus in your nose so that it is easy to pass and reduce congestion. Do not scratch your nose because it can cause sores. Avoid blowing your nose with a strong blow because there is a risk of injury. Enough fluid intake by drinking about 2 liters of water per day. Get enough rest , sleep 7-8 hours a day. Elevate the pillow while sleeping for comfort in breathing when the nose is blocked. This is my explanation. Hope it helps and useful :)
