The Possibility Of Getting Pregnant After Menstruation And Then Having Sex?
Good evening, I have a question. I am currently using kb already 3 years. So far, I have never had a period, but at the beginning of April I did. After finishing my period, I got in touch with my husband. Will I get pregnant?
KB is used to delay pregnancy. The way the contraceptives work varies according to what type of contraception you choose, whether hormonal or non-hormonal, whether pills or injections or spiral. If the birth control device you are using is a spiral or non-hormonal one, then after you take off birth control, pregnancy can immediately occur. But if what you are using is a hormonal birth control pill or injection because it affects the hormones in your body, it usually takes time for the hormonal balance to occur or recovery for ovulation to occur again. Usually it takes 3-18 months for pregnancy to occur, but the conditions for hormonal adjustment vary from person to person. So it might be faster than that.
If you have stopped family planning and are already having sex with your husband, pregnancy may occur afterward. Especially if intercourse is during your fertile period. The fertile period usually occurs 10-15 days from the first day of the last menstruation.
To check for pregnancy, look for signs of pregnancy:
delayed menstruation> 2 weeks there are spots that may indicate the attachment of a fertilized egg to the uterine wall, breasts are firmer and sensitive, nausea, vomiting, more frequent mornings, easily tired for no apparent reason, changes in mood, frequent urination, lower abdominal pain. Check the test pack for some of the symptoms above, if negative, repeat again a week later. If you are still in doubt, check your condition with an obstetrician.
