The Possibility Of Pregnancy When Sperm Drips On The Lips Of The Vagina?
Hello, kmrin is having intercourse using a condom. When the sperm gets out it is immediately revoked and the condom is released, then the sperm drips a little above the vagina but does not reach the vaginal opening. Can it cause pregnancy or not? The last menstruation was 21 dec 2019
Thank you for the question.
Pregnancy occurs when sperm from a male fertilizes an egg from a woman when there is fertility. Therefore, to postpone pregnancy, couples can use contraception, such as birth control pills, IUDs, or condoms, to avoid fertilization. In addition, other methods of contraception that can be used are interrupted intercourse, or methods of removing sperm outside the vagina.
The method of interrupted intercourse is a method long before the existence of contraception. Although this is easy to do, this interrupted method of intercourse still has a chance of causing pregnancy, even if there is little chance. When ejaculatory fluid is released outside the vagina, it is still possible for the sperm to accidentally enter the vagina, so that the chances of pregnancy are still present.
To find out someone is pregnant or not, you need further tests such as using a t-pack which can usually be detected about one week after conception, and with an ultrasound examination of the pregnancy.
Hope this helps :)
