The Purpose Of The Location Of The Fetus That Is Filled In The MCH Handbook?
What is the purpose of the ball O + fetus?
The location of the fetus ball (+) in the MCH handbook is the result of a pregnancy test called a ballotement, where the results obtained on the examination are positive or on examination there is a reflection in the abdomen that can be interpreted as the place of the fetal head.
This examination is classified as a simple examination to get a quick picture of the condition of the pregnancy, but unfortunately this ballotemen examination is subjective to the examiner, so it is expected to be confirmed again by another pregnancy examination, because it could be even though the results of ball (-) when actually pregnant, this can occur due to many factors such as the very young age of the fetus, consequently the head of the fetus is not / is difficult to feel or is in an unnatural position such as the transverse or breech location.
Results Ball (+) is a normal result in pregnant women, however patients are expected to control pregnancy regularly so that the health of pregnant women and the fetus in the womb is maintained well until the delivery process later.
