The Results Of An Ultrasound Examination Of The Lower Abdomen?
Hello wr.wb., I want to ask you about this one month, my stomach is lower right after waking up in the morning there is a lump and after I urinate the lump disappears. Yesterday I had an ultrasound, the doctor in my area said that the results of the bladder appeared one more but it was still small. Please explain and give advice, thank you!
There is only one bladder in every living thing. New bladder growth may not occur. Of course we cannot confirm your condition, but it is possible that what your doctor is referring to is a protrusion or a lump in the bladder. The bladder wall is composed of smooth muscle. When there is a lot of urine, the smooth muscle will stretch, so that the bladder volume increases. Sometimes, if the bladder stretches too long, a portion of the smooth muscle segment weakens. That causes the formation of protrusion of the bladder wall called the diverticulum. Diverticulum will be more clearly seen when the urine is full.
Other causes may be a hernia in the abdominal wall, or a tumor mass growth in the stomach. It's good, you do the re-control to the treating doctor. If a diverticulum does occur, then surgery must be performed to remove it.
Thus a brief explanation that I can give. Hope you find a solution soon. Regards.
