The Right Side Of The Head Hurts When You Hold It?
I want to ask, my right side of the head hurts every time I touch it but there are no lumps and my neck on the right side also often feels sore and achy even though I’m not doing any activitiesrnrnAnd are the two related or not?
Hello Fitri, thank you for visiting HealthReplies.com.
Complaints of right-sided headache and pain to the touch and neck pain and stiffness can be caused by various things:
Migraine, characterized by throbbing pain, usually in one head but very severe pain can be on both sides to the neck, sometimes accompanied by nausea and vomiting to fainting
Headache Muscle Tension, characterized by pain on both sides of the head continuously, feels like a heavy object is being hit, neck muscles feel stiff
Cluster headaches are characterized by pain around the eyes that can spread to the shoulders, neck, arms, frequent tears and red eyes, pain on one side of the body. Usually cluster pain occurs at night and appears routinely
Inflammation of the outer or inner ear
To reduce head and neck pain, you can do the following:
Adequate rest at least 8 hours per day
Avoid sleeping too late
Avoid sudden position changes
Take pain relievers if they are unbearable, such as paracetamol.
If the headache is unbearable, fever, seizures, double vision, limbs feel weak, go to the doctor immediately. The doctor will conduct an in-person examination and may perform neurological examinations, such as a CT scan or MRI if needed.
Thank you, hope it's useful
