The Right Supplement For Pregnant Women?
I am 8 months pregnant. Is it okay if I consume 1 cup of Anmum milk, Nutrimama supplements, Natabion, and 500mg calcium lactate in one day? what should be prioritized if not together?
Hello, thank you for your question
Both milk and supplements that you tell are good supplements for pregnant women, because they contain folic acid and vitamins and minerals needed during pregnancy. But you need to note that anything that is excessive is certainly not good.
Folic acid is vitamin B9 which is needed by pregnant women and someone suffering from anemia due to a deficiency of folic acid deficiency. For pregnant women, the recommended daily dose is 0.4 - 1 mg per day or 400-1000 micrograms per day. Use in excessive doses can cause side effects such as nausea, flatulence and loss of appetite.
On this forum, we don't recommend that one supplement is better than another. However, you can read the composition and choose which supplements you prefer to take each day so that they meet your daily needs without overdoing it. Besides taking supplements, you can still be advised to consume any brand of pregnancy milk (as long as it has been registered by the BPOM) according to the recommended use.
so I hope this information is useful
