The Right Treatment For Bell’s Palsy?

.. I’ve been experiencing paralysis of one side of the face all of a sudden…. it’s been almost 15 years… I used to only have alternative treatment by means of massage. Thank God, now it’s pretty bad, not too bad, but still a bit muzzled, even now I like to twitch my lips and eyes…. can it be treated or not. ..what’s the cure…thank you
1 Answer:
Hi Sarah,
The condition you are experiencing should be immediately examined by a neurologist to get further treatment, and to find out the cause more precisely.
Your condition can be caused by:
Bell's palsy Post stroke Cholesteatoma Salivary gland tumor GBS Otitis media Sarcoidosis Multiple sclerosis disease Local epilepsy There are many possible causes that must be clarified by a complete examination by a neurologist later. Each cause will have its own way of handling, therefore it needs to be examined further.
Our advice:
You can compress the part that looks paralyzed with warm water on a regular basis. Light massage on the face can also stimulate the surrounding nerves. Make sure the massage is not too hard, and do it regularly. Eat healthy food Check your health condition in general and regularly every year through Demikia's medical check-up, hope it helps
