The Size Of A Child’s Left Brain Is Bigger Than The Right Brain?
Good Night Doc. My child is 2 months old, just checked head up. The result is that the size of the left brain is greater than that of the right brain / not symmetrical. The impact for the long term like what? Is there a way of healing it? Thank you in advance
Unfortunately the question you wrote is incomplete. We do not understand what type of supporting examination (check-up) is performed on your child, whether head ultrasound or other investigations performed on the head or certain neurological examinations so as to produce conclusions of brain size abnormalities.
At best, you are actually consulting with a doctor who recommends the examination. Because the doctor is the most master of detailed medical data and the results of your baby's physical examination.
In general, abnormalities in the size of the brain in infants can cause impaired intelligence, disruption in coordination and body muscles, convulsions, disturbances in the senses of the body, difficulty speaking, abnormalities in the shape of the spine, and other growth and developmental disorders.
If the brain size disorder is a congenital abnormality associated with genetic disorders, medical treatment will be focused on optimizing the growth and development of children through treatment to overcome the problems of physical symptoms, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy and certain actions to overcome obstacles that arise due to brain disorders.
