The Skin Feels Oily And Dry?
Hello, I have complaints about my facial skin, I am confused about determining my facial skin because the cheeks, forehead and nose feel oily and there are too many blackheads, but in the philtrum section and at the bottom edge of the lips feel dry and peeling. So is my skin oily or combination? Thank you
Hello, thanks for the question.
It is important to know the type of facial skin to help determine the right type of facial treatment. Some skin types that are known include normal, dry, oily, or sensitive facial skin. This type of facial skin is influenced by several factors, namely:
Water content in the skin
The level of skin sensitivity to certain substances.
Combination facial skin is a mixture of oily and dry skin, which usually has oily skin in the T-zone (chin, nose and forehead), while the cheeks remain dry. This type of facial skin can be influenced by genetic factors and puberty, which is when the oil glands increase sebum production. We recommend that you clean your face regularly every day using a mild facial cleanser, use a moisturizer, especially in dry areas of the skin, clean the remnants of makeup before going to bed, use cosmetics that are suitable for your skin type, use sunscreen to protect the skin from ultraviolet rays, avoid direct sunlight, avoid cigarettes and meet your daily fluid needs. If you are in doubt, you should consult your skin type with a skin specialist so your doctor can recommend the right type of skin care.
Thus, hopefully it helps.
