The Solution To Overcome Decreased Milk Production?
Hello Yuliaheraa, Thank you for the question.
ASI has the nutrition needed by the baby especially during the first 6 months. The recommendation for breastfeeding is at least exclusively for the first 6 months and can be continued until the child is 2 years old. Breast milk can be given by breastfeeding your child directly or by breast milk.
If you milk your breasts regularly every 3 hours, this can help maintain milk production. Emptying the breast either in the form of direct breastfeeding or regular milking, can maintain the production of breast milk to remain numerous. If you do not empty your breasts, your body will get a signal to reduce milk production. In addition to regularly emptying your breasts, you are also advised to do the following things to maintain milk production:
get enough rest
consume lots of water
consume balanced nutritious food
Limit consumption of caffeinated beverages such as coffee or tea
manage stress well
Don't hesitate to consult a lactation consultant doctor if you are concerned about your milk production.
