The Sound Of Friction In The Inner Chest?
Hello I want to ask, the upper chest inside near the throat like the esophagus often sounds like friction when I move my body from side to side, the sound is getting louder when I open my mouth. Is this dangerous? And can it be cured? Thanks.
The sound that is felt needs to be confirmed again whether it is additional breath sounds or abnormal sounds (coming from the lungs and respiratory tract), or sounds from bones and joints. Sound can be caused by the following factors:
The air released by the joint when there is a shift in the position of the joint when moving the body
History of trauma / impact so there is a fracture
Sounds come from the lungs and airways, for example in asthma conditions, coughing up phlegm until narrowing of the airways due to accumulated phlegm, narrowing of the larynx, the presence of fluid in the airways, and inflammation of the pleura
Are there any other complaints? If there are no other complaints, you can try doing the following tips first:
Get enough rest
Exercise more carefully and stretch according to your body's abilities
Drink a lot of water
Avoid cigarette smoke
Use a humidifier if necessary
However, if the sound is felt more often or you experience other complaints such as coughing, swelling in the chest, or pain in the chest, you should consult a doctor directly so that you can ascertain the cause so you can get a more appropriate treatment. If necessary, the doctor can carry out additional examinations, for example by X-ray.
Hope it helps you,
