The Spots Around The Stomach Are Getting Wider?
I want to ask, my sister has recently had lots of spots on her stomach like itching but the more the spots have been given ointment but still more and more… why is that? and what is the cure?
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Itchy spots in the stomach area can be caused by the following conditions:
Allergic contact dermatitis (skin inflammation due to contact with an allergenic substance) Infections, for example: Fungal, such as tinea corporis, tinea versicolor (tinea versicolor), bacterial candidiasis, such as folliculitis, miliaria (prickly heat), acne, impetigo Mites, such as scabies (scabies) ) Viruses, such as varicella (chickenpox) Insect bites Irritant contact dermatitis (skin inflammation due to contact with irritating substances) Drug eruptions (manifestations of hypersensitivity to a drug that appear on the skin), and so on If complaints have appeared for more than 3 days or more spreads to other areas of the abdomen, then you should invite your sister to check her complaint directly to the doctor. If necessary, the doctor may refer your sister to a dermatologist for further evaluation and treatment.
At this point, even if it itch, it's best to tell your sister not to scratch the itchy stomach area too much. Excessive scratching of itchy skin, in addition to making the itching spread, can also cause skin irritation or secondary infection which of course makes the complaint more difficult to cure. Relieve itching by sprinkling salicylic powder or applying calamine lotion to itchy skin. Choose clothes that are clean and made of cotton, and not too tight. Don't forget to take a shower and use antiseptic soap to maintain personal hygiene.
Hope it helps ya..
