Hello Farichah, Thank you for the question.
Abdominal pain that you feel is predominantly felt on the left or right: The causes of stomach pain vary depending on the location of the stomach pain and other complaints you are experiencing.
Lower left abdominal pain can be caused by: chemhi tract infection, kidney stones, colitis, dysentery, diverticulitis, intestinal polyps, endometriosis, pelvic inflammation, ovarian cysts. Meanwhile, lower right abdominal pain can be caused by urinary tract infections, kidney stones, colitis, appendicitis, dysentery, endometriosis, pelvic inflammation, ovarian cysts. Complaints of abdominal pain can also be accompanied by complaints in the digestive tract (bloody bowel movements, diarrhea, constipation, nausea, vomiting, decreased appetite), complaints in the urinary tract, or complaints related to menstruation.
The best thing you can do is to consult with your doctor first so that the doctor can ask more about your complaint and examine you. The doctor will also suggest further tests such as blood tests, stool examinations, urine tests, ultrasound, CT scans. The next treatment will be determined according to the medical condition that underlies your complaint. Treatment for each health condition varies so it is important for you to know the cause first. To treat temporary stomach pain, you can try applying warm compresses to the sore area or taking paracetamol. Make sure you are consuming enough food and drink.
Hope this information is helpful.
