When pregnancy enters the age of 24 weeks, normally the fetus weighs about 600 grams with a head to heel length of about 30 cm. Therefore, the mother can easily feel the fetus from outside.


Asymmetrical belly shape during pregnancy, which is bigger and harder on the right side of the body, is usually not a dangerous condition. This condition can occur due to differences in the position of the fetus in your womb. Larger and harder palpable mass is usually formed from the head or back. Meanwhile, the stomach that is inhabited by the fingers, buttocks, and stomach will feel smaller and also soft. The position of the fetus will continue to rotate until it generally settles after the pregnancy enters over 7 months of age.


A stomach that looks bigger on one side during pregnancy can also be affected by the position of the placenta (placenta) that is implanted in the uterus. In most cases, the placenta will be implanted on the upper side of the uterus.
