The Use Of Birth Control Pills And Hormone Drugs In Transvestites?

Morning I am a transvestite aged 21 years. I took estrogen hormone therapy by taking 1bb of diane 35 pills and 200mg of spironolactone pills daily. Is drinking enough to stop the production of the hormone testoterone?

1 Answer:

Hello. Thank you for the question submitted to HealthReplies.com. We can understand the concern you feel.

Diane 35 birth control pills are drugs that contain cyproterone acetate and ethinyl estradiol. This drug is usually used as an oral hormonal contraceptive method. The content of this drug is a combination of the progesterone and estrogen derivatives. Oral contraception works by suppressing the release of eggs from the ovaries, preventing the attachment of eggs to the uterine wall, and thickening cervical mucus which can inhibit the movement of sperm. Side effects of its use include headache, breast pain, mood disorders, nausea, abdominal pain, and weight gain.

Meanwhile, spironoloactone is a potassium-sparing diuretic drug that can function as a blood pressure-lowering drug. Usually this drug is used to treat swelling due to the accumulation of body fluids in certain parts. In addition, spironolactone is also used in the treatment of excess hormone aldosterone which is at risk of causing the body's electrolyte disturbances. Side effects that can occur include dizziness, headache, lethargy, diarrhea, impaired muscle coordination, electrolyte disturbances, gynecomastia, and impaired hormonal balance.

Both of these medicinal products are classified as hard drugs. The use of drugs for hormonal therapy purposes requires certain dosage adjustments that must be under the supervision of a doctor. Not recommended to use hard drugs arbitrarily because of the risk of causing disruption of the body's hormonal balance. Therefore, you are advised to consult with your doctor first if you experience a complaint that requires medical therapy with hard drugs.

Thus information from us. Hopefully always healthy. May be useful.
