The Use Of Facial Cleansing Soap To Overcome Red Acne Scars?
Afternoon, I have a lot of red acne scars. An article says, high pH soap is not good for red acne scars. Is that true? Do I have to use a face cream with a low pH / acid? Thanks.
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com.
any facial soap is actually not a problem used on the face as long as it does not contain scrubs because it will damage facial skin. However, the pH level of human facial skin tends to be more acidic, which is around 4-5. So that the soap that is suitable for maintaining the pH balance of the facial skin is more towards the acidic or neutral pHt soap.
As for acne, the relationship is with dirt, dust, facial washing habits and maintaining clean skin. Acne appears due to dirt and oil that are accumulated and retained in the skin of the face. If left unchecked and experienced severe, acne can become infected with bacteria and cause symptoms that are not comfortable such as spots appear filled like pus and so on.
things you can do to prevent acne include:
1. Wash your face 2x a day using soap without scrub
2. Maintain cleanliness of facial skin by avoiding dust and dirt from facial skin
3. Consuming vegetables and fruit as well as mineral water so that moisture and youthful skin are always maintained
thus hopefully useful
