The Use Of Sunscreen If The Beauty Cream Already Contains SPF?
, from what I’ve read even though the makeup already contains SPF must still use sunscreen. What about skincare for example day cream, do you still need to use sunscreen again?
Sunscreen is one of the most important skincare to protect skin from the negative effects of sunlight. It is true that even though the makeup already contains SPF, you should still wear sunscreen for optimal protection.
The use of sunscreen should be considered so that the skin is completely protected from the sun. Here are tips for using sunscreen:
Wear sunscreen in the morning
Use Suncreen 20 minutes before leaving the house, especially when using chemical sunscreens
Use sunscreen to all parts of the body that are not covered by clothes evenly
Repeat the use of sunscreen every 2-4 hours or if you sweat a lot or get exposed to water
If you wear makeup and don't want to remove makeup, you can use a spray-shaped sunscreen
Choose a sunscreen that suits your skin type
Back to your question, if the day cream already contains SPF, this goes back to your daily activities. If you work indoors and are not exposed to direct sunlight, then a day cream with SPF may be enough, but it is still recommended to repeat the use of sunscreens every 2-4 hours for maximum protection. Moreover, using day cream is generally only thin evenly distributed so that the possibility of the skin has not been maximally protected when not using additional sunscreen. Meanwhile, if you work outside or are exposed to the sun, you should still use additional sunscreen after day cream, or you can choose non-SPF day cream and use a separate sunscreen.
Hope it helps you,
