The View Turns Green After Seeing The Light.?
Hello, I have only recently noticed eye problems that have happened to me for a long time. My eyes are the normal type of eye, do not need glasses and also do not have color blindness. But my eyes when exposed to bright lights such as lights or sunlight even though it is blazing even briefly, and when I take my eyes off the light source, in my sight like there is a kind of green patches that slightly disturb my view. The green color in my sight was actually only a few minutes before it faded. Are these eye disorders in my eyes a fairly serious symptom?
Hello. Thank you for the question submitted to HealthReplies.com. We can understand the concern you feel.
The sensation of vision in the form of glare (usually white) when walking from a relatively darker place to a relatively brighter space is physiologically normal. When we are in a dark room, then walk into a bright room, at some early time our view will be very sensitive to blinding light. There will only be a slight contrast between the darker and brighter parts of the objects in the view so that the overall image of our vision will appear white.
Furthermore, along with the light pigments in the retina of the eye that will be damaged (broken down) due to intense light, the sensitivity of our eyes will be reduced. Even normal contrast can be detected again. In physiology, this process is known as light adaptation.
Thus, no special therapy is needed related to this physiological process. Do not hesitate to consult with a doctor or ophthalmologist if you still have complaints related to vision.
Thus information from us. Hopefully always healthy. May be useful.
