The following are some diseases related to your complaint, namely:
1. Erythroderma is a skin disorder characterized by total redness that covers 90% of the body's surface, lasting for several days to several weeks. This disease can be caused by several things, namely systemic drug allergy, expansion of skin diseases, systemic and idiopathic diseases (unknown cause). You can read more here.
2. Xerosis cutis or dry skin. Caused by genes of inherited dry skin, menopause, dehydration, suffering from thyroid disease, suffering from kidney failure, malnutrition, experiencing drastic weight loss and using diuretic drugs, retinoids, or chemotherapy.
You should immediately consult a dermatologist. The doctor will conduct a medical interview, a thorough physical examination and other necessary investigations, such as routine blood and skin tissue biopsy examination. If the doctor already knows the disease caused by your skin symptoms, then the doctor will provide treatment based on the cause.
Meanwhile, you can avoid using bath soap that contains scrubs, antiseptics or fragrances, because it can make the skin become more dry and also increase the risk of skin irritation. Avoid using rough bath scrubbers and towels. Rub the body gently and wipe the body using a towel made from soft, just by patting it. Avoid bathing with warm water, because it can make the skin become drier.
Thus hopefully useful.
