There Are Brown Spots On The Eyeball?
The doctor in the white area of my eye has chocolate. It’s been around 8 years. I do not know what causes it. I want my eyes to be white like they used to be.
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
As we get older, often, the whites of the eyes (sclera) that are originally pure white do look more dull and brownish spots appear in them. This condition is actually not always dangerous. In most cases, this condition arises due to the deposition of melanin pigment (skin pigment) in certain parts of the eye, or often referred to as conjunctival nevus. It can also occur as part of normal variations, such as in the case of CAM (complexion associates melanosis), PAM (primary acquired melanosis), and so on. Although often not dangerous, indeed, the presence of brown spots can be very disturbing for sufferers.
Here are some suggestions that you can do to make the sclera look brighter, cleaner, and brown spots are reduced:
When in a dirty or polluted environment, wear protective glasses
Do not look directly at the sun with the naked eye
Avoid rubbing or rubbing the eyes excessively, especially with dirty hands
Sleep adequately and regularly 6-8 hours a day
Do not smoke
Live a healthy diet, rich in vitamin A
Do not use eye care products carelessly, for example contact lenses, eye drops, eye ointments, and so on
Overcoming brown spots on the eyes as you experience it generally can not be done in a short time. As long as no danger signs appear, such as brown spots that increase in number, increase in size, or other complaints, such as eye sores, itching, lumps, visual disturbances, etc., this condition is generally nothing to worry about.
However, if you find other danger signs as mentioned above, we urge you to check your eye condition directly to your doctor or ophthalmologist. It is feared, complaints in your eyes arise because of an illness, such as pinguecula, keratitis, corneal ulcer, conjunctivitis, uveitis, melanoma, impaired liver function, and so on. With a direct doctor's examination, of course the possibility of the disease that underlies your complaint can be identified and given the best treatment.
Hope this helps ...
