There Are Lumps And Pain When Pulling Teeth?
, my lower canine teeth happen to be in pain and the process is revoked. I have been given pain medication but my lower jaw still feels painful and swollen like there are lumps. Besides that if I hold my lower jaw, it feels like pins and needles. Why is that? Is it due to a toothache or what? thank you
Hello, thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Your complaint can be caused by your toothache. Pain in the teeth can spread to the jaw, thereby also causing jaw pain. Usually this happens because of an infection that occurs in your teeth, such as a dental abscess. It is better to follow the advice of the dentist who treats you. The dentist will help you overcome the toothache complaints that you feel. Jaw pain is not only due to toothache, but it can also be caused by disruption of the jaw joints, sinus infections, cluster headaches.
Some things you can do at home to help overcome complaints: gargle with warm water, regularly clean / brush your teeth at least 2 times a day, take pain medication that has been given by your doctor, avoid smoking and drinking alcohol, consumption of nutritious foods. If you feel tooth pain that is unbearable, then you should immediately consult a doctor immediately.
Thank you, hope that helps.
