There Are Several Lumps In The Lower Jaw?
Hello doctor, I’m Chantika, I’m 21 years old, at first I felt the right half of my body aches from head to toe, accompanied by my ears with heat and pain until my head hurts like a migraine, I’ve tried traditional medicine but there is no change, so it’s right td night I felt jaw bwah jaw and I felt a lump in number 2 on the left and right jaw, if pressed pain, and in the morning I felt again it turned out to add one more lump in the chin bwah. Previously I also had a cold. Is that lymph node?
Hello Chantika, thank you for asking.
The presence of a lump under the jaw and chin can be caused by several things, such as:
The body's normal reaction is enlarged lymph nodes due to an infection Infection or inflammation of the lymph nodes Infection of the salivary glands Abscesses (such as boils) in the lower jaw Cysts (lumps filled with water) of the jaw To determine whether it is a lymph node or not should examined by a doctor directly so that the exact cause can be known. You may undergo further tests such as blood tests or other tests according to the doctor's consideration to ascertain the cause, after which the treatment will be adjusted to your condition.
For treatment at home, you should not press on the lump, if the pain is felt to be quite disturbing, headaches arise or accompanied by fever, you can take paracetamol as prescribed by the package, but continue to follow the doctor's advice.
I hope this helps.
