Hi, I’m only 14 years old and just trying to put on some kind of small bra or mini set. Is it possible that the minisets are too small and narrow and make my left breast sometimes painful, like the upper part of the nipple and near the armpit. Also under the nipples of both my breasts there are slashes that are brighter than the color of my skin, why is that? Please answer yes thanks doctor 🙂
Hello Marsya, thank you for the question for HealthReplies.com
Breast pain that occurs at puberty or several years after puberty has passed is a fairly normal thing to happen. Sometimes growing breasts can cause pain. However, breast pain can also occur due to other things such as:
cyclic pain, which is breast pain that occurs just before menstruation until the first days of menstruation, which will disappear after menstruation is finished using a bra that is too small an infection of the breast (mastitis) is a benign tumor in the breast Currently, you can try using a bra the size that fits your breast more. It's best to avoid wearing bras that have wires under them while your breasts are sore and avoid wearing bras while sleeping. You can compress your breasts with a warm compress to help reduce the pain you feel. If the pain you feel is getting worse, there is swelling and redness in your breasts, you can feel a lump in your breast, you have fever, you should immediately see a doctor for further evaluation and treatment.
Lighter colored lines on your breasts are likely stretch marks. Stretch marks are also commonly found in several parts of the body (for example on the breasts, thighs, buttocks) during puberty. You can try applying a skin moisturizer and gently massaging the areas that experience these stretch marks. Here is an article that you can read about stretch marks.
So much information from me, hopefully it will be enough to answer
