Hello!

Thank you for the question on HealthReplies.com,

Dengue fever is a disease that arises due to Dengue virus infection, which is transmitted through the bite of the Aedes aegypti or Aedes albopictus mosquito. A person suffering from dengue fever can experience several symptoms, including fever that can persist for more than 3 days, headache, joint pain, muscle, and bone, decreased appetite, weakness, pain in the back of the eye, nausea and vomiting, swelling lymph nodes, reddish rashes, reddish spots on the extremities, nosebleeds, bleeding gums.

If clinical signs arise leading to dengue fever accompanied by spontaneous bleeding such as nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or bleeding spots, it is advisable to check the condition to the doctor for further examination and management. After leaving the hospital, it is advisable to maintain adequate diet and drink, and ensure adequate rest periods. It is better to avoid conditions that are too tiring for more optimal recovery.

Some things that can be done to prevent dengue infection, include the method of eradicating mosquito nests. Aside from fogging, another method is to regularly run 3M, especially in the rainy season. Step 3M, namely:

Drain a water reservoir, such as a bathtub or toren, at least every week.
Close the water reservoir meeting.
Recycle items that have the potential to be breeding places for the Aedes aegypti mosquito.

Hopefully this information can help you,

Regards.
