Tips On Knowing The Type Of Skin And The Selection Of Beauty Products For The Age Of 15 Years?
Good afternoon, I’m Jessica. I am 15 years old (kls 2 senior high school). I want to know my facial skin type, so I can look for skincare products that are right in my face. my face is sometimes oily, on my nose / cheeks / forehead. but sometimes dry next to the nose, near the eyebrows, and also often dry on my eyebrows until it peels off the crust. and my eyebrows also often itch and zits occur there. my face has quite a lot of pimples too, but now it’s better but my face turned red. and there are still acne scars like that red spot … and there are some acne scars that are like getting into (holes). That’s why why can it perforate like that? according to the doctor what product is suitable for the type of face like me? and what is my skin type? combination / sensitive?
Hello Jessica, Thank you for the question.
Knowing your skin type is important so you can find out what skin care you can do according to your skin type. Basically the skin type is divided into:
normal skin: no skin problems, generally skin pores appear small or invisible, skin looks radiant
oily skin: large skin pores, blackheads or pimples, and dull skin
dry skin: skin pores are small or invisible, skin looks dull, not supple, can be found peeling skin or wrinkles on the skin
combination skin: oily in the T area (on the forehead and ridge) and normal or dry skin in other areas
sensitive skin: skin more sensitive to exposure to something so the skin looks red, feels sore or itchy, dry, peeling
The skin description you mentioned might be more suitable for combination skin types.
Acne can happen to anyone. This condition is caused by blocked hair follicles by a buildup of skin oil (sebum), dead skin cells, and followed by a bacterial infection. Acne that appears varies from pustules, papules, nodules to cysts. When pimples heal, these pimples can leave acne scars that can be blackened, rolling (uneven skin, ice pick (the skin looks hollow like a sharp object pierced), and boxcar (skin looks like a hollow).
For the selection of the right skin care products, you need to make sure your skin type is examined by a skin specialist doctor. There are several suggestions that you can do:
Clean your face from cosmetics before going to bed
wash your face with a gentle facial cleansing soap
use skin care products and cosmetics that are water-based if your skin is prone to breakouts
use sunscreen if you travel outside the home, avoid direct sun exposure
multiply the consumption of nutritious foods
meet your body's fluid needs by consuming water
manage stress well
Hopefully this information is useful.
