Tooth Growth At The Age Of 12 Years.?
Hello, good afternoon, my name is Figo. I have a tooth that has dislodged teeth. I am 12 years old, can it grow again? I’m sure my teeth are baby teeth because they haven’t come off at all. Can they grow again?
Hello Figo, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Substitution of baby teeth into permanent teeth in children generally occurs from the age of 6 years to the age of 12 years. generally tooth changes occur only 1 time. therefore, if the tooth that is removed is a baby tooth it will be able to grow permanent teeth as a replacement, but if the tooth that is released is a permanent tooth naturally the tooth cannot grow back.
If within a few days there are no signs of new tooth growth, it's a good idea to see your dentist for further examination.
So much information from me, hopefully it helps.
