Transparent Bubbles Appear On The Thumb Of The Hand
Hello Doctor, good night, now in my thumb there is a kind of transparent bubble. I don’t know what the contents are but it looks like it’s dry, not runny. This might be weird, but the bubbles are like going (?) Getting closer to the nails, and when it’s near the nails, my nails hurt and the skin starts to peel. This might sound trivial but it makes me uncomfortable. I diligently cut my nails and clean between my nails but these bubbles keep appearing every time I haven’t cut my nails and when my nails are cut the bubbles burst. So I have to cut my nails every two or three days. Isn’t that strange? I wonder why? I have tried searching the internet but there are no suitable symptoms. Thank you in advance 🙂
Hello Audrey, Thank you for the question.
Previously need to know more whether you also experience other symptoms such as dry skin, thickened skin, itching or burning in the area, or the contact with chemicals such as soap or detergent clothing. More information is needed to be able to estimate the cause of the symptoms that you are experiencing. Some of the causes of the symptoms that you are experiencing are:
contact dermatitis, both irritant contact dermatitis and allergic contact dermatitis
To ensure the cause and the right treatment, it is really necessary to check by a dermatologist directly. However, given the situation of the corona virus outbreak, it is recommended that you postpone consulting with a dermatologist until the outbreak situation subsides; unless the symptoms are very disturbing and cause severe pain. You can try the following recommendations:
use petroleum jelly products to treat skin peeling
avoid breaking the water resilience
Avoid using laundry detergents and laundry detergents
use a gentle shower soap that does not contain fragrance or hypoallergenic
manage stress well
Avoid exposure to hot air
Hopefully this information helps you.
