Treat A Red Navel?
, I want to ask is there any medicine to cure red navel / umbilical granuloma besides surgery?
Has a doctor been examined and diagnosed with umbilical granuloma? Umbilical granuloma is a red lump like lump of flesh in the navel which generally occurs in newborns after the umbilical cord is loose. In some cases, the umbilical cord rupture is incomplete and leaves a bit of red flesh-like tissue. Treatment of umbilical granuloma is with treatment from a pediatrician.
A red belly button is not always caused by an umbilical granuloma. Some other things that can cause a red belly button include:
Infection in the navel / omphalitis Abscess Umbilical hernia Mole red nevus Tumors and malignancies in the navel area To determine the cause of a red navel, you should consult a doctor so that further examination can be carried out. If the cause of the red navel has been determined, the doctor can provide the right treatment for you. Treatment can be with surgery or drugs depending on the cause of the complaint and the patient's condition.
In the meantime, you should not squeeze, manipulate, or apply anything other than the doctor's medicine to the red belly button. Wear loose clothing so as not to put too much pressure on the belly button and keep your body clean to prevent infection.
Thanks and hope it helps,
